When you visit our website for informational purposes, that means without registration or other forms of data transfer, only data which your browser transfers to servers used by us are collected. When you want to view our website, those data are collected which are technically relevant to display our website and to ensure the security and stability (legal basis: Art. 6 (1) p. 1, lit f GDPR):

  • date and time of the request

  • time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)

  • content of the request (concrete page)

  • access status / HTTP status code

  • transferred volume of data

  • website where the request comes from

  • operating system and its interface

Legal Basis of the Processing Operation

We process data in accordance with GDPR Art. 6 (1) lit. a) b) c) f). This means that Personal Data is only processed when approval is given (lit. a), when it is necessary for the fulfilment of a contract or for precontractual measures (lit. b), when we are legally obliged (lit. c), or when we have a legitimate interest in processing (f). 

 

Indented Use

The collected data are used only to provide you the desired products or services, or for other purposes for which the consent was given if no contrary legal obligation exists. 

 

Rights of the Persons Affected

You have the following rights regarding your Personal Data:

  • Right of rectification or erasure

  • Right of restriction of processing

We save Personal Data as long as necessary to perform a service which you requested or given approval for if no contrary legal obligation exists, like for example a current lawsuit. 

 

Use of Cookies

In additional to the data mentioned above, Cookies are saved on your computer while using our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer, assigned to your used browser. The cookies transfer specific information to the website (in this case, the website of the UVIS UV-Innovative Solutions GmbH) which installed them. Next to the purely informative use of our website, we offer different services which you can use if interested. Thus, you have to state more Personal Data which we use for the rendering of the service and for which apply the principles stated above. 
Partially, we use external agents for the procession of your data. These were chosen and instructed carefully, are bound by our instructions, and are controlled on a regularly basis. Furthermore, we can give Personal Data to third parties if sales action, lotteries, conclusions of contracts, or similar services are offered in cooperation with our partners. We use Google Analytics, a web analyse service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google uses Cookies. The information generated by Cookies about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The anonymized IP address provided by Google Analytics within the framework of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data provided by Google.

On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. Thereby, pseudonymous user profiles can be created with the processed data.

Google is certified with the Privacy-Shield-Agreement and offers hereby the guarantee of observing the European Data Protection Law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active).

We use Google only with activated IP anonymization. This means that the IP address of the user is shortened by Google within the area of the member states of the European Union or other contracting states of the agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases the full IP address will be sent to a Google server in the US and anonymized there. The IP address, which is transferred by the browser of the user, will not be merged with other data from Google.

The users can prevent the saving of Cookies with the appropriate browser settings. Furthermore, the users can prevent the collection and processing of data which are created by the Cookie and related to their usage of the online offer by downloading and installing the following Browser-Plug-In (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).

Third Party Content on the Website 
Our website integrates content of other providers. This could be pure content elements (e.g. news) but also widgets (functions like weather forecast) or scriptures and technical libraries. For technical reasons, these contents are downloaded by the browser from other servers. In this context, the actual used IP address and the used browser are transferred by the querying system.
